SEA-EU-NET Closing event; Brussels/Belgium 27 April 2017; 14.00 - 17:45

The SEA-EU-NET closing event aims to provide an overview on the activities and results of the project and tries to assess the impact of it. It will also show selected project activities that will continue in the future. The event will include a round table discussion on the future of S&T relations between Southeast Asia and Europe.

Antimicrobial Resistance Research and Surveillance in Southeast Asia (State of Play and Policy Note)

The SEA-EU-NET project seeks to establish science, technology and innovation cooperation between ASEAN and EU, especially in the global challenges of food safety and security, water management and health. Antimicrobial resistance has been highlighted as a key challenge that crosses all these disciplines, and has been increasing in importance in regional and international dialogue on cooperation.

Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Master Class

SEA-EU-NET 2 is tasked to support and stimulate partnerships in Health research with the ASEAN countries. A masterclass on AMR surveillance was conducted in the summer of 2016 to stimulate partnership among young researchers. A cohort of fellows from various fields converged in University of Liverpool, Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University to network with regional stakeholders and discussion on current topics in AMR surveillance.
